decisions as choosing to use our products comes down to the individual and beliefs of what they follow and believe.
However, we will leave you to decide based on your personal choice!
No, You will need to purchase a new license if you need to use the Beat for more than one production or project.
Short answer: Not yet…
Unfortunately, we do not currently offer this service. However, we do welcome any suggestions or recommendations of tracks emailed to us ([email protected]) that could be used as inspiration to create something like it. However, this should not be treated as a custom request and that we are not responsible for updating or sharing any information in regards to the process of it being produced or declined.

For whitelisting, there are 2 types of actions we can take with YouTube for you.
The first is releasing claims if you want to remove (or not see) claims on videos. Whitelisting in this way is known as “allow-listing” and we will release claims as they arrive. Please note if you are requesting this action that we cannot undo it with YouTube.
Please send a link to the video you would like us to Whitelist or Release Claim on.
YouTube Video Link:
The second option is to Whitelist specific YouTube Channels. This is intended to prevent claims (or “copyright strikes”) from appearing on the channel. Please submit the below link for us to submit to YouTube on your behalf. Please note we cannot whitelist artist channels.
If you have the appropriate license to use the music in the video, simply file a counter-notification via the link below to provide documentation proving that the correct rights to use the copyrighted work in your video have been purchased.
We do not provide beats to anybody who would like to vocal our beats or artist. However, if you get in touch with us we can direct you to our founder & producer to work with.
To cater for different audiences and customers, we provide a range of vocal type soundtracks which include female vocals. Our soundtracks could individually include mixed vocals, male vocals only, and female vocals only. This way, we can cater to different preferences and provide options for different types of events, such as women-only events or sisters-only content.
Another way to make it clear of which soundtracks includes women vocals is by using filters in the ‘browse library’ page. This way, our customers can easily find and select the type of vocals they prefer. By offering a range of vocal types and using filters in your browse library, we have made it easy for customers to find and select the music they prefer.
It’s important to note that ultimately, the choice of whether or not to use women vocals in halal music is up to you and your personal beliefs and values.
The intention to supplying our Vocal & Daf (Frame Drum) variation of soundtracks is to supply these to be used at the following examples of events where appropriate:
We offer 3 variations of each soundtrack which are the following:
1. Vocals only
2. Vocals & Drum (Daf)
3. Vocals & Beatbox
All of which are 100% authentic and a range of vocals are recorded in house including the daff and beatbox sounds.
Vocals
We use a range of different pitch variable vocals from all around the world. Such as vocals recorded in-house, vocal samples, vocal synths and vocal pads.
Drums
The only drum we use in our products is the Daf or Duf, which has been specially made for us in Egypt. All sounds created by this drum is recorded in-house.
BeatBoxing
All beatboxing samples are recorded in-house by our producers.
Us, Halal Beats produce and own all productions and copyrights to each beat.
Yes and no…
Yes,
You can edit the song to fit your project, such as fading in-out and re-structuring for vocaling. As long as the overall intent and character of the track remains unchanged.
No, Remixing or adding additional musical elements to a track for sync use is NOT allowed. When an artist purchases an artist license the artist as expected is to use their own speaking voice to vocal the beat with the intention of creating a song or nasheed.
Modifying our beats or adding other sounds to it will breach the agreement which may lead to serious consequences and account closure. If you have any queries or questions on any of our products then feel free to contact us.
No, You can not make edited or remixed versions of our Beats available via any platform. You are allowed to cut and/or loop our Beats to adapt to your audiovisual project. To see any other usage allowed look at the licence terms and conditions.
No, All content & beats are protected and copyrighted by Halal Beats. We are the copyright holders.
You can not register our Beats or any edited version in any music recognition system, such as Youtube Content ID – The copyright and ownership still remain 100% to Halal Beats.
Yes for sync licneses.
No for artist licneses.
Royalty meaning: Royalty meaning: “Royalty-free” refers to the fact that the person who licenses the song is not required to pay a royalty and the copyright to the work is not yours. The person who composed the music owns the copyright and that owner of the copyright can decide whether or not you can use their music.
Unfortunately, we do not offer this service. However, we do welcome any suggestions or recommendations of tracks emailed to us (At [email protected]) that could be used as inspiration to create something like it. However, this should not be treated as a custom request and we are not responsible for updating or sharing any information in regards to the process of it being produced or declined.
Once payment is received you will receive the license and beat via email & your account.
Music licensing is the process of giving and getting permission to use copyrighted music. Copyright protection means only the creator can reproduce, arrange, distribute, display, print, perform, play, or digitally transmit their music. Owners can capitalize on these exclusive rights by giving others permission for a fee, or selling their ownership rights altogether.
There are seven types of licenses that someone can use for various purposes. They are: synchronization license, mechanical license, master license, public performance license, print rights license, theatrical license and blanket licneses.
A synchronization license is an agreement between a music user and the owner of a copyrighted composition that grants permission to release the song in a video format (YouTube, Social media platforms..etc). This permission is also called synchronization rights, synch rights, or sync rights.
Also known as a Mechanical License, the reproduction license is the one that allows a song to be reproduced and distributed in any media for a certain audience, and always for an exclusively private use of the music track.
This license is the one that entitles a company to set or record the music track in a medium or support to be reproduced.
That is to say, it is necessary to, for example, record a music CD, a vinyl, a cassette or any other support in which the music track is going to be distributed.
It also enables the customer of the music track to obtain copies of the music track, since the act of fixation also provides for the possibility of duplicating, for example, a disc for further marketing and sale.
It is worth mentioning that we will also need this license as long as we want to record our own version of a certain song, as well as for the export, in physical or digital format, of a video that uses the music track.
The master license is the one that authorizes the use of a music track in audiovisual projects to the person who acquires it.
At first glance, this license seems to be practically the same as the synchronization license because both are needed to use the music in moving image projects. However, they have some significant differences.
Among them, one of the most important is that the master license transfers the rights to the original recording of the song to the customer.
In contrast, the synchronization license allows you to use the composition of a music track, i.e. the score and lyrics of the song, among other things to make new recordings or new versions of the original song.
Another difference between the two licenses is membership. Whereas the master license is usually held by the record companies that have recorded the artist’s piece of music, the synchronization license is usually held by the publishers, the composers, or, failing that, the authors themselves.
Therefore, if you need to use a song in audiovisual media such as television, video games, or commercials, you must obtain both licenses: the synchronization license and the master license.
After the synchronization license, the public communication license is possibly the most used within the music licenses.
Also known as the performance license, this license is the one that allows the use of a music track for public broadcasting.
This includes everything from concerts to radio, television, live music played on business or on the street.
In short, it will be necessary to reproduce the musical work in any place that is frequented by the public, whether it is a locale, a discotheque, a store, a restaurant or any type of business.
In other words,
every time someone reproduces known music for an audience they must obtain and pay for this license.
Those who usually hold the rights to this particular type of license are usually the copyright societies, also called Performance Rights Organizations, which differ depending on the country you are in:
These societies are the ones dedicated to collecting music royalties from each of the sources mentioned where the music track is played.
In turn, they will distribute these royalties to the artists according to the number of times their song has been reproduced, subtracting the commission from their services.
As the name suggests, the print rights license refers to the permission to make print copies of the scores of a given music track.
In other words, if you need to print out the score of a song in physical format, you will need this license.
This applies as long as you want to print, write, arrange or sell the score of a song, as well as if you want to use part of the lyrics of that song to include it on the back covers of a music CD or, for example, in the subtitles of a video on YouTube.
This license is a somewhat private license. The theatre license is only used in the theatre and it is the one that allows you to perform a certain song in a theatrical play.
In other words,
you need to acquire the theater license every time a copyrighted musical work is to be performed on a stage in the presence of an audience.
Now that you know about the licenses that move in the music world, it’s time for you to know something important.
Many times you will not really need to use a specific famous song for your audiovisual project or your business and, therefore, you will not need to acquire any of the above licenses.
For example, there are alternatives in the market that offer their “own” licenses and that will allow you to use music tracks and sound effects for the different projects we have mentioned above, such as videos in social networks, TV and radio commercials, video games or audiovisual projects with a commercial purpose.
These alternatives are called royalty-free music licenses and there are several platforms on the Internet that offer them at a much lower price than it would cost you to purchase the above licenses.
A blanket license allows a client to use a catalog of songs for an annual fee… This makes using music easier because there is less paperwork involved and a slue of music for the client to use throughout the year for any number of projects.
Venues that are likely to obtain a blanket license:
and just about any business that uses music to set the mood or tone for their establishment. I was surprised when I found out how much my local Marriot was paying for elevator music.
Elevator music = The music you hear in the elevator/music you hear as you walk into the establishment (just throwing that out there).
These licenses can range from a few hundred to several hundred thousand dollars (millions), depending on what’s negotiated.
Standard: Lifetime of the project
Premium: Lifetime of the project
Sync rights cover the right to use the composition in audio/visual projects,
Master Use rights cover the right to use the recording in such projects.
Halal Beats own 100% sync and master rights, so you don’t have to worry about anything.
However, every Live Performance of the Project outside of a domestic environment is defined as a Public performance and will require an additional licence from PRS For Music.
Halal Beats is 100% owner of master rights and sync
No, our licences will not cover you if your film or advertisement will air on TV, Streaming radio, Netflix and other VOD platforms. The same if your film shows in theaters across the nation. For such usages, You should contact PRS For Music and PPL for requesting an additional licence.
Yes, to keep your project covered and protected
One license cover usage of one beat for one project
Yes. If you are hired to produce or edit audiovisual projects for a client, your license covers them for their personal or commercial use of that specific project.
Yes. This may mean we earn a small percentage of revenue from the production posted on YouTube. This is called content ID. Our beats will be detected by a copyright claims system by YouTube to inform us of the use of our beats being used. This allows us to review the production, check the correct license has been purchased/used and then will be whitelisted which means the video will be eligible for monetisation. If the production goes on air, then please see your license terms and conditions purchased for the beat where you will find more information.
No, this will NOT affect your revenue earnings.
We monetize and collect royalties from any use of our tracks on YouTube. The royalties generated for the use of your tracks on YouTube are essentially a portion of ad revenue. Ads are only served on videos by a copyright owner or publishing admin (a label, publisher, etc.) placing a claim on a video and telling YouTube to monetize that video.
Beats are tracked and we collect the publishing royalties generated by your music from YouTube.
Our synchronization and master use license does not cover use in public performances or live streaming.
We do not cover for example TV advertising, Broadcast TV, Cable or Satellite TV, Subscription or streaming internet TV, Radio, use of the music within any commercial film production or theatrical release.
For those types of usages, you need to contact PRS For Music to ask for the appropriate licence covering the public performance of the composition and PPL for the licence covering the public performance of the sound recording.
Short Answer: Can get quite messy…
For projects of which artists and content creators that have used a beat/soundtrack without a license in are not covered and can be prosecuted for all the companies loss of earnings and more.
For example: if a beat has been illegally ripped or downloaded off the internet through a YouTube converter or any system audio recording software a device…etc that project of where the beat has been used cannot be used or posted anywhere since there is no legal permission from use.
All our beats/soundtracks and products are protected with various programs such as content-id…etc and without a legal agreement, that beat is useless.
The first step we would take is to reach out to the users and notify them about the unauthorized use of the beat.
Then, offer them 2 options.
The best-case scenario, they adhere to the request. But what if they don’t?
In that case, it leaves us 1 option:
File for a DMCA takedown
Contact us AS SOON AS POSSIBLE before the project gets filed for to be taken down so we can work out a solution.
Unfortunately not, however, you can take down the project off the internet which inlcudes our soundtrack.
Unfortunately, this option isn’t available and if you have purchased the wrong license let us know and we can see what we can do for you, however, in most cases customers will have to buy the license again.
If you need to cover usages such as
will require a public performance licence (PRS or PPL) or other licenses according to the copyright societies licensing schemes.
PRS covers performing rights for the composition.
PPL covers performing rights for the sound recordings.
